About Us
A Little Words About Us
The MozArte International Piano Competition was founded to inspire young musicians and celebrate the transformative power of classical music. Held in the historic city of Aachen, our competition welcomes emerging pianists from around the world, offering them a stage where artistry, individuality, and dedication are truly valued. Through the MozArte Festival, renowned musicians (many of them also members of our jury), share their performances, offering young participants and our audiences close artistic inspiration. All events are open to the public and free of charge.
Alongside the competition and festival concerts, we offer masterclasses, workshops, and collaborative cultural events, including partnerships with visual artists for exhibitions and vernissages. Together, these experiences create a supportive, creative environment where young performers can grow, exchange ideas, and discover their unique musical voice.
Musicians at the Core
Our team is a group of passionate professionals, many of whom are active pianists. Because so many of us live the musical experience ourselves: on stage, in rehearsals, and in masterclasses, we bring a performer’s perspective to every aspect of the MozArte International Piano Competition & Festival. We understand what makes an artistic environment inspiring, supportive, and enjoyable because we experience it firsthand.
Above all, we are here to ensure that our participants, artists, jury members, and audiences feel welcomed, encouraged, and offered the best possible musical experience.
